About
Hi! I’m Alphonso Nuñez.
I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage, Couples, & Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist registered in the state of Oregon, License #T2282. I’m also currently an adjunct professor at Lewis and Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling where I instruct several courses and provide supervision to therapists-in-training and LPC and LMFT Associates.
I have worked in the field of mental health for several years. Through that experience, I have developed a strong background in working with individuals and couples. The work often includes addressing issues around: communication, intimacy and sexuality, distribution of responsibilities, co-parenting, and many others. As a BIPOC person, I also work with members of oppressed populations to navigate a number of issues they may experience as a result of systemic marginalization.
